If you’re a commercial livestock producer, you already know the cash flow challenge: feed bills come due long before your animals are sold. Berend Bros., in partnership with Purina and John Deere Financial (JDF), offers a 0% interest financing program designed to bridge that cash flow gap.

Known as Purina’s “6-4-0″ program—six months, zero percent interest, zero fees to the customer—”6-4-0” allows qualifying producers to finance eligible feed purchases.

Who Qualifies?

“6-4-0” is built for commercial livestock producers. Eligible species include:

Beef cattle
Commercial goats and sheep
Commercial deer and exotic herds

Products Eligible on “6-4-0”?

Eligible products include:

Purina-branded feeds, minerals, milk replacer, and supplements
Select Berend Bros. mill-mixed feed products incorporating a qualifying Purina component

How It Works

When you purchase a qualifying purchase to your local Berend Bros., you have six months to repay JDF at zero percent interest. The program costs you nothing.

A few key rules to follow:

Tell us at the time of purchase that you want to charge to your JDF account. This cannot be applied retroactively.
Keep qualifying purchases on a separate invoice from any other Berend Bros. items.
Pay John Deere Financial directly—not Berend Bros.—by your due date. Pay on time and you owe zero interest. If you decide to extend payment past the due date, interest starts at that time. There is no retroactive interest.
